Awarded the 2006 Regional Respondent-of-the-Year Prize from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, region two. 
Nominated for Outstanding Original Short Script for the 2005 New York IT Awards, celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, for my play Roast Beef and the Rare Kiss.
Awarded the 2005 Mark Twain Prize for Comic Playwriting for my play Cow-Tipping and Other Signs of Stress, presented by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival . 
Awarded 2nd Place for the 2005 David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award for my play Cow-Tipping and Other Signs of Stress, presented by both the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and ATHE, Association of Theatre in Higher Education.
Finalist for the 2004 Heideman Award and National Ten Minute Play Contest from the Actors' Theatre of Louisville for my short play Roast Beef and the Rare Kiss.
Awarded the 2004 National Ten-Minute Play award from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for my play Stairway to Heaven.
Awarded Best Director from the Turnip Theatre's 9th Annual NYC 15-minute Play Competition at the American Globe Theater for Answering the Echo by Larry Harris, with Brian Letscher & Rochele Tillman, who received 1st Runner Up for Best Play, Best Actor, & Best Actress.
Recipient of the Post-Graduate Directing Prize from Columbia University Theatre, awarded a residency assistant directing Adrian Hall both at Trinity Rep and the Dallas Theatre Center. 
Recipient of a Meritorious Achievement Award from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (region 8) for directing Runaways by Elizabeth Swados' at California State University at Northridge, which was also awarded four other awards for ensemble work and three acting performances.
